GCI Router Login

Need to tweak your Wi-Fi name, set a stronger password, or just check who’s on your network? Logging in to your GCI router is actually pretty simple once you know the right steps. Let’s go through it together.

1. Connect to Your GCI Network

First things first—make sure your device is connected:

  • Wi-Fi: Use the SSID printed on your GCI router’s sticker.
  • Ethernet: Connect your PC or laptop directly to the router’s LAN port.

If you’re not connected, you won’t be able to log in.

2. Open the Router Login Page

Open a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge—it’s up to you) and type one of these IP addresses into the address bar:

Press Enter, and you should see the router’s login screen. If it doesn’t appear, try the next IP in the list.

3. Enter Your Login Details

By default, GCI routers often use:

  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin

If that doesn’t work, check the sticker on your router or the user manual for your exact model.

4. Adjust Your Settings

Once logged in, you can:

  • Change your Wi-Fi name (SSID)
  • Create a strong password
  • Enable guest Wi-Fi
  • See all connected devices

Pro Tip: Always click “Save” after making changes, or they won’t stick.

5. Reset If You’re Locked Out

If you forgot your login details:

  1. Locate the small reset button on the back of the router.
  2. Press and hold it with a paperclip for 10–15 seconds.
  3. Wait for the router to restart.

It will revert to factory defaults, allowing you to log in with the original username and password.

Logging in from Your Phone

Yes—you can do this on your phone too:
