CSG Router Login

Got a CSG LTE Gateway like the popular M106 or M519, and now you need to log into the settings page? Here’s how you get full control in no time.

Step 1: Connect to the CSG Router

First, make sure your device (phone or laptop) is connected to the CSG Wi-Fi network—it typically shows up as CSG‑xxxx or CSG‑xxxx‑5G—or plug directly into the router via Ethernet.

Step 2: Open the Router Interface in Your Browser

Once you’re connected, open your browser and type this.

http://192.168.8.1

That’s the default setup gateway for most CSG routers. If it doesn’t load, check that you’re really connected to the router’s network.

Step 3: Enter Your Router Login Details

When the login page appears, enter the credentials:

  • Username: root
  • Password: last 8 characters of your device Serial Number (printed on the sticker)

The password is case-sensitive, so match it exactly. That combo works for most CSG devices including M106. (192.168.1.1, Pristine Internet)

Step 4: Access Settings & Customize Your Network

Now you’re in the dashboard:

  • Change your Wi-Fi name (SSID) or password
  • Adjust wireless settings individually for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
  • Monitor connected devices
  • Enable guest networks
  • Manage bandwidth and more (Pristine Internet, Versa Networks)

Once you’re done, make sure to click Apply or Save.

Forgot Your Password? Here’s How to Reset

If entering the credentials fails:

  1. Locate the reset button (small pinhole at the back).
  2. Press and hold it for about 10 seconds and let go.
  3. Router will reboot—restoring defaults.
  4. After reboot, reconnect and repeat Step 3 with the default password. (modemly, Router Network)
