Alright, so you’ve got a Truespeed internet connection (nice choice btw 👏), and now you need to log in to your router to change the password, update the SSID, or just poke around.
But how do you even get into it? Don’t stress. I’ve got you.

🔌 Step 1: Connect to Your Truespeed Router
This one’s a no-brainer but super important.
You gotta be connected to the Truespeed network — either:
- Through Wi-Fi, or
- Using an Ethernet cable for a stable, wired connection
Trying to access it over mobile data? Yeah… that ain’t gonna work.
🌐 Step 2: Open a Browser & Enter the IP Address
Now open any browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, you name it.
In the address bar (not the search bar), type:
👉 http://192.168.1.1
or sometimes http://192.168.0.1
Press Enter and boom — you should see a login screen.
If you get an error:
- Double-check your IP (every dot counts!)
- Restart your router
- Try the other IP
Still nothing? Your IP might be different. You can find it using ipconfig on Windows or ifconfig on Mac/Linux.
🔐 Step 3: Enter Default Login Credentials
Here comes the gatekeeper moment…
Try these default login combos:

- Use a paperclip to press and hold it for 10–15 seconds
- Wait for the router to restart
- Use the default login again
⚠️ Pro tip: This will reset ALL your settings — Wi-Fi name, password, custom setups, everything. So only do it if you have to.

Inside the admin panel, you can do all the cool stuff:
